I own a lot of guitars, basses, keyboards & sound equipment, and I'm obsessive about care & maintenance.
I've played piano & guitar since school, but bass guitar has been my big thing for the last 3 years, I play in two local swing jazz big bands & a blues/rock trio (plus guests).

My Bands
My main musical interest is now playing bass guitar. I play in two jazz big bands, and dep with two others. I'm also the bass player with Eleventh Hour, and occasional stand-in with BBK based at Bracknell's South Hill Park.

- Gallien Krueger 700RB 2x10 combo amp 300W, monster sound, monster weight, great it has wheels, shame the wheels are so small, shame my studio is upstairs ;-)
- Laney HCM65 combo amp 65W
- Peavey Micro Bass combo amp, only cost me a tenner ;-)
- Korg Toneworks Pandora bass effects unit, really fun gizmo, built in drum machine & phrase trainer
- Yamaha Clavinova electric piano
- Korg X-50 synthesiser, very portable, great sounds, especially piano & organ
- Endless quantities of electric guitars from Gibson, Fender, PRS, Rickenbacker, Gretsch, etc.
- Various guitar amps ...
- Band In A Box software, great accompaniment & doesn't drink ;-)
My Kittens
Tiger & Jasmine came from the local RSPCA about 3 years ago now, they're great ;-) Blackie arrived at the house as a "stray" in December 2009 & wouldn't go away, was VERY persistent so here she is ...
My Other Interests
Preston North End FC - all football - Ceroc (modern jive) - running, cycling, orienteering - mathematics, physics, astronomy, philosophy, religion - wild flowers - reading - (maybe I'll expand this section ...)
